Terms of Use
These Terms describe the conditions for using Smart AI Translator. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Permitted Use
You may use the App for lawful personal or professional translation purposes, including text translation, voice-assisted translation, camera text recognition, AI-assisted conversation translation, floating on-screen translation, and offline phrases, subject to the availability and limitations of each feature.
2. Translated and AI-Generated Results
Translations and generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for some situations. You should independently verify important information. Do not rely solely on this App for emergencies or for medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decisions.
3. Google Gemini API and Eligibility
AI conversation translation relies on Google Gemini API, a third-party service that has its own terms, geographical availability and age limitations. Google's current terms restrict API clients directed toward or likely to be accessed by people under 18 and require paid services for API clients made available to users in the UK, EEA or Switzerland. Use of Gemini-powered features must comply with applicable provider terms. Some Gemini features may be unavailable or restricted.
4. Floating Translator and Third-Party Apps
The floating translation feature may request Accessibility Service and display-over-other-apps permissions to read and translate text you select in another application. You are responsible for using this feature only with content you are authorized to access and process, and for respecting third-party applications' rules and other people's privacy.
5. User Content
You are responsible for the text, images and speech that you provide for translation. Do not submit material you do not have permission to process, and avoid sharing sensitive or confidential content in Gemini-powered conversations. We do not claim ownership of your translation inputs.
6. Availability and Changes
Features depend on device compatibility, permissions, network connection, supported languages, third-party services and other factors. We may update, suspend or discontinue a feature when necessary.
7. No Advertising in the Current App
The current Smart AI Translator release does not display in-app advertising. If that changes, we will update relevant notices and disclosures.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date will indicate when they were most recently changed.
